Delaware State AFL-CIO Celebrates Student Achievement at Annual Scholarship Luncheon
NEWARK, Del. – May 30, 2026 – The Delaware State AFL-CIO proudly hosted its annual Scholarship Luncheon on Saturday, May 30, bringing together labor leaders, union members, community supporters, students, and their families to celebrate academic excellence and the importance of education.
Held at UAW Local 1183 in Newark, the luncheon recognized outstanding students who exemplify hard work, dedication, and a commitment to their future. This year's scholarship recipients, Jacob Kaminski and Jaylen Reed, were honored for their academic achievements, leadership, and community involvement.
The Delaware State AFL-CIO Scholarship Program reflects the labor movement's long-standing commitment to expanding educational opportunities for working families and investing in the next generation of leaders.
